It was a Castle Ring start without a Canock Chase walk and it was not raining. It was out to give section 2 of the HoEW a once over. With a closer examination of the Gentleshaw Common portion. It seems that there is no "right of way" alongside Common Side according to the online version of the Definitive Map.

It was back to The Swan where Lesley joined us at for lunch.
