The forcast was too good to miss. Fourtunatly the morning was cloudy and so it did not get too hot for the bulk of the walk. The Edstone (or Bearley) Aqueduct, the reason for the walk, on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal proved worthy of the endevor. Though, beware of where you go, you never know what lurks in the Warwickshire countryside.
Welcome surprises for lunch at the Navigation Inn. May-be it was the garden, the sun or the pies? Sadly, for our final reward, the queue for ice creams in Henley-in Arden proved too long for our patience.
