Churnet Valley

Sunday, 9th September

With the risk of this year being without this premier walk looming the chance was leaped at. It looks like that what was the Lord Nelson must have received its planning permission for conversion to a private house. We had to put up with USATC S160 again as it was still in traffic on the CVR. It looks like their extension to Leek will be undertaken sometime in the future.

Happiness! The Black Lion survives, along with its roasts. However, it looks like the red cabbage is consigned to history.
